love in telluride
When Julianne & Wesley described their vision for their custom project, they said they had two things in mind for their suite: they wanted to evoke the feeling of a colorado mountain range disappearing into the horizon, and they wanted to somehow capture the magic that is Telluride, Colorado in the summer.
We created the mountain range feeling with layered, custom laser-cut pieces and included a custom-cut vellum overlay to help create that feeling of depth from mountain peak to mountain peak.
To capture the feeling of a Telluride summer, I created a series of custom monoline art paying homage to some of Telluride's most iconic things: the quintessential downtown view as you look towards the mountains and bridal veil falls; the gondola; and Southwest Colorado's summer wildflowers (including, of course, a columbine). Each piece of art was specifically chosen to be on a different layered piece, and then we brought all the art together in the envelope liner.
We then pulled in all of these custom details from their suite into their day-of stationery! Including layering their menus and place cards, using the same laser-cut design, and including all of the same custom line art!
One of the most fun details of their day-of stationery was creating custom, laser-cut place cards in the shape of the gondola, which were layered over custom-made metal gondola ornaments, made by BE Steel Company .
wild & free bar mitzvah
For Farrah’s wild & free bar mitzvah, we created save the dates, a full invitation suite, and so much fun day-of stationery and signage!
Farrah’s suite featured bright and colorful graphics, a laser-cut QR code card, and beautiful detailing in subtle blind letterpress. Custom, professionally-printed envelopes created a fun and whimsical touch that set the tone of the day before any envelope was even opened.
The most incredible piece of Farrah’s day-of pieces was a six-foot acrylic seating chart, hand-painted with bright, beautiful flowers (the same from the invitation suite!), with printed escort cards attached to it. As guests removed their escort cards, the painted florals would be beautifully revealed.
Other fun pieces in this suite included acrylic table numbers (each “number” being a different flower), weekend itineraries, and large die-cut stickers.
meet us in montana
Erica & Eric’s beautiful custom invitation suite for their Montana wedding featured a custom laser-cut Montana card, as well as a sweet illustration of their venue. The floral graphics used were reminiscent of a Montana summer, with Erica’s day-of color palette used throughout.
For their day-of stationery, we pulled through the same color scheme and graphics throughout, to create a sense of cohesiveness throughout. One of the most fun details in this day-of suite were the double-sided table numbers, which each featured a different image of the bride and groom on the back.
a toad-ally awesome baby shower
When one of your bffs is having a baby (!!) and loves toads, you make her a toad-ally adorable baby shower invitation. (And spend a fair amount of time finding a toad graphic that is, you know, actually adorable).
